David and Sarah, both on the autistic spectrum, meet at a summer group for people with autism and learning disabilities in NYC. Being there against his will, David keeps his distance at first, but, gradually, starts falling for bubbly and loving Sarah. Director Rachel Israel’s empathy for her characters – a quality that does not deny the film’s quirky humour – makes Keep the Change a particularly endearing romantic comedy. Winner of best narrative feature at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival.
