UNFIX Festival: aCOPalypse Now! / Birthpangs

Birthpangs
UNFIX Festival presents visions of Apocalypse & Regeneration in time for the ‘COP21’ climate change negotiations in Paris this December. As our politicians haggle, we’re proposing conscious experiences of a burnt-drowned, human-heavy planet (and strategies for saying Yes to life without flinching).
The possibility of a cancelled future is ‘the pivotal psychological reality of our time’ (Joanna Macy). What can be felt / done about it? Do we already know it in our bones? Live performances, films and discussions will seek exposure to the reality of our lives as “the first generation to feel the impact of climate change, and the last to be able to do anything about it” (Barack Obama). aCOPalypse NOw! is part of ArtCOP Scotland.
