UWS: BA (Hons) Contemporary Screen Acting Showcase

Students from the BA (Honours) Contemporary Screen Acting course at the University of the West of Scotland present a diverse afternoon of work created in this the final year of their studies, showcasing a variety of different genres; from horror to romantic comedy to sketch shows to hard hitting social realism and experimental works.

The School of Media, Culture and Society supports an annual calendar of events to showcase students’ creative work to industry experts and public audiences. The Showcase events bring together the best work of students from across the School, highlighting students’ work to industry experts, future employers and the general public. Film shows and music performances combine with prize-giving events, to present a narrative of the School’s, and each student’s, journey and growth through the year.
