We are offering a one-off chance to see the new darkly comic British independent film Pubmonkey as part of a national tour. This free event will be followed by a Q&A with the writer, director and The Len Price 3, who provided the score.

The film was directed by Jean-Claude Deguara who is known primarily for his visual effects work on shows such as Sherlock and Doctor Who. It features the music of Medway garage legends The Len Price 3 and was shot with no budget using a unique collaborative approach. It is a chance for burgeoning filmmakers to find out how to negotiate and bypass many of the obstacles that prevent them from making their first feature.

The film focuses on Eddie – amateur philosopher, chronic loser and Sinatra fan whose only discernible talent is entertaining lowlifes for free drinks. His life has taken a downward turn recently as he has become stuck in a dead end job in a shoe shop. One morning he receives a phone call from an irate addict known as Loony Noonie. He accuses Eddie of stealing a shipment of cocaine and gives him until 8pm that evening to return it or he’ll kill Eddie's girlfriend.

Will Eddie be able to round up enough maniacs from his past to save her? Will Noonie's sanity hold out? And will Eddie be able to keep himself sober enough to make it through the day?

Entrance to the screening includes a discount to the band's show that evening.
