CCA wishes to appoint a new board member able to commit time, energy and vision to shaping the strategic direction of the Company. CCA is looking for candidates with a wide variety of skills but particularly experience in the legal & finance sector or with an accounting & commercial background.

CCA is a unique and diverse art space in Glasgow that aims to support artists based in Scotland within a programme that is internationally significant. It provides a major platform for experimental work across artistic disciplines while actively supporting more traditional art forms. In addition to the galleries the venue operates a multi-purpose theatre, cinema and club room as well as The Creative Lab programme which is a key generator of live artwork. CCA is also an important venue for the public presentation of short films, experimental movies and documentaries.

In addition to its core programme CCA supports a range of partners and collaborators to present new work in the building, ensuring audiences have access to a rich and diverse programme.

CCA is a hub for the local artistic community and makes an important contribution to the cultural life of the city, offering a range of activities that encourage people to enjoy and access the arts. CCA is an organization that aims to think and debate contemporary issues in a public space and has, at its heart, the prospect of cultural and social change explored through art.
