Weekend of Improvisation in Glasgow III: Performance Evening

Alongside two public workshops, WIG III will present an evening of improvised performances, including spontaneous music and dance works by members of ICEBERG, Something Smashing, Vonnegut Collective & Stephanie Arsoska.
Highly skilled music and dance practitioners will be presenting unique performance works, highlighting a range of improvisation practices within Scotland and the UK.
WIG is curated by ICEBERG, with support from the CCA, Creative Scotland and The Work Room.

ICEBERG is an international group of professional dancers, musicians and theatre practitioners, with improvisation at the heart of their practice. ICEBERG is committed to highlighting improvisation as an exciting, dynamic and highly-skilled form. They want to create a monthly curated improvisation performance space and in the longterm, a peer to peer workshop environment where multidisciplinary artists ― whether early stage practitioners, students or professional practitioners ― can work together, creating a professional, encouraging and supportive space for new working relationships that will feedback into the ecosystem of Glasgow's art and performance scene.
