我們意外的勇氣 Unexpected Courage

Chen Le-fu is a senior talent manager. On her 45th birthday, two things happen unexpectedly in her life. One is that she is promoted to her dream job position, and the other is that she discovers she is carrying a life in her womb, half of which was removed by surgery earlier. The father of the child is her boyfriend Lin Po-en, a commercial director thirteen years her junior. Due to the gap of age and accomplishment, he is always reserved in this relationship and has never dared to make any promise or thought about becoming a father or a husband himself.

While she is pregnant with their unborn baby, who she may miscarry at any time, Le-fu re-examines her relationship with her family, and Po-en is trying hard to overcome his own fears.

This incident that happened unexpectedly in their lives leads Po-en, who lacks the sense of belonging, to find the courage to make promises to his loved ones. It also gives Le-fu, who has no hope for a long-term relationship, the courage to believe in it. Together with their child, they form a family as they come to understand the most important love and companionship in life and become parents to their son as well as true partners to each other.
