CinemaAttic Brazil
CinemaAttic is back at CCA with a powerful rebellious programme of Brazilian cinema.
Formally audacious, with a radical spirit of transgression and a hyper-present sense of physicality, Brazil produces one of the richest, more colourful and heterogenous cinemas in the world.
Despite Bolsonaro government attempts, Brazilian filmmakers continue to make film that show a colourful, dissident, radical spirit - including gems of new Brazilian LGBTQ cinema. Five beautiful short films to understand why Brazil has established itself as a powerhouse when it comes to world cinema.
