Scottish Queer International Film Festival
Rollick/Dance: From dirty to sensuous
Thu 7 October 2021
Join us for an evening of music videos that will have you glad to be alive!
In this screening, we present music videos and dance interpretations that encourage us to be carefree, to frolic, and to ponder the links that bind us all together as a Queer community. Prepare to be challenged, entertained, and to fight the urge to join in the dance: express yourself!
Featuring Miguel Ángel Romero Yepes’ exploration of drag queen cabaret in The Red Pearl Queen.
Curated by Jamie Rea.
Tickets for most events are on a sliding scale of FREE, £2, £4, £6, or £8. Choose what to pay based on your circumstances. If you can afford more, it helps us out if you pay more. This allows us to have free or cheap tickets for those who most need them and keep the festival going as well as support queer filmmakers.
Films are in English and Portuguese audio and screen with English language captions for access.
All SQIFF events will have BSL-English interpretation.
All SQIFF events will have live captioning.
CCA is currently operating with increased requirements due to Coronavirus. Masks and hand-sanitising are required throughout the building, and queueing for events will take place outside, so please dress for the weather. We ask that people attending events take a lateral flow test before visiting CCA. For more information, please see Venue Guidance.
