The Black Veil

The second part of this year’s Scottish Shorts programme presents works of critique and documentary.

The selected films share thought-provoking responses to rainbow capitalism and cis-sexism. Also included are very honest and touching accounts of mourning whilst queer.

Featuring Sweætshops’s dark animation on corporate Pride (Logos❤️ Globalise🧡 Brands💛 Trends💚 Quarterlies💙Inc💜 Associated+), Ali Grant’s love letter to her late older sister (The Isobel Imprint), and Suki Hollywood’s tale of a superhero and a f*ckboy (This Suit), and more!

Curated by Nat Lall. We hope to welcome several of the filmmakers for a Q&A. Followed by our Filmmaker Social.
